From Chartered Accountant to China import expert
Mayank began his career in 2003 as a practising Chartered Accountant, solving customs, sales tax and income tax matters for his clients – several of them importers. In 2004, at their request, he moved to China to form their companies and handle supplier contracts, and soon began sourcing products from China and working directly with factories. Having lived and worked in China, he speaks Mandarin with factory owners – a big reason IFC can negotiate, verify and inspect at the source.
From 2005 he opened the doors to every Indian business. IFC became one of the first companies to offer a China export agent and an India import agent under one roof, with the Dang family handling customs clearance in India. Over two decades IFC has served brands such as Ferns N Petals, KUKA Home, Cameleon Cosmetics, FabFurnish, Jabong, Snapdeal and Telemart, leading architects and interior designers, and 5000+ online sellers.
Family strength: the four pillars behind IFC
IFC has always been a family business. Four people stand behind Mayank Dang and everything IFC does:
- CA Rakesh Dang (father): Chartered Accountant and Bollywood film producer (Seeta Films Pvt Ltd). Producer of Welcome to the Jungle (2026, starring Akshay Kumar), The Diplomat (2025) and Rabba Main Kya Karoon (2013), with Chaos and Mrs Falani in production.
- Himanshu Dang (brother): LLB and licensed customs broker (CHA F-card holder), whose customs and legal expertise is a backbone of IFC’s customs clearance.
- Komal Dang (wife): mass communication graduate who leads IFC’s social media, content and brand voice.
- Tushar Dang (cousin): finance and accounts expert who keeps IFC’s numbers, payments and compliance in order.
